Registration/Accounts F.A.Q

Correct as of 28/9/09

Recently the official registration page (your potential/current accounts) has been having some issues.

To this extent alot of people have been asking whats going on, can they apply to beta, can they edit their accounts etc

Please Note:
A forum account is separate from a registration account. Forum accounts are perfectly fine, as far as we know. (Any issues please don't hesitate to PM a Moderator or speak to AJZ directly)

What you need to know so far:

People who currently have a registered account can edit their accounts, however some can upload the DXDiag, where others cannot. (to replace an existing upload)
Newcomers to the website(s) cannot create/register an account currently, nor apply for beta. (Currently known and is hoped to be fixed in due course)
Newcomers, currently, cannot get email resends/responces. Again this is known and will hopefully be fixed soon™
Some people may not be able to load the registration/account site at all. This may be a browser issue, or a heavy use of the site at that particular time. (Works for me at the time of typing)
Anyone can create & maintain a forum account (within forum rules and policies)

What does this mean?

To summarise : Basically the game (as most know) is undergoing changes to the very core. Team size, project length etc etc. To this end, alot of things may be lower on the priority list.

While CME are sorting internal issues, future developements; we can expect a few things to change/not work. For example as there is no current Beta, beta applications - for now - (via DXDiag uploads) may (in some cases) and may not work.

Accounts also will more than likely be lower on the priority list as its really only necessary currently to allow Beta optin's - in preparation for that area + launch. Both of which are not closeby, yet.

I tried to reset my account password and am not getting a email response.

I take it the system is still down. Should I try again in a week or so, or just wait until there is official notice?

Will the system send me an e-mail if I registered during this "down time"? Or will I need to re-register my game account after the system opens again? It says it's pending and that it would send me a link (which if it's not working I expect it not to).

As far as I know Gauwyn, when the system is working again, all emails that are pending/should be sent out will be.

However I can't be 100% certain until we know the extent of whats affected

The company is CME, mine is the game, big difference

And the fact you only show up to put people/companies/etc down is in fact where the "srs probs" issue is

I honestly don't see what anything connected to myself, has to do with someone like you.

And the Troll repellent seems to not work on Gaunts, I'll need something greater.............

Stargate Worlds is currently on hold, so therefore you cannot play that game. However a 3rd person shooter created by the same company, is playable (launched feb 10th 2010) called Stargate Resistance.

You can see the official site over : here.

As its download only, you can buy and download direct from FireSky (the publishing house) here. (be sure to create an account also, to apply emailed code(s))

Or from Direct2Drive, here.
