anchient Battleships

I would like to see more anchient battleships found in season3 (like in season 2 episode inferno) but in bigger hangers with more ships in them, but i find it annyoying how every ship team atlantis has found has been destroyed of very damaged! did the anchients ever leave anything undamaged?

Well the ancinets were in a massive war when they left the Pegasus so most of the stuff the team will find will probably be damaged to some extent. But yea i'd love to see some more War Ships mayb different class ships or like research ships or somethn too

It would sweet to see different ships. I must admit that I am getting a little bored of the puddle jumper. Hopefully they will find somekind of outpost on a diff. planet with intact ships.

yea the puddle jumpers are cool but they are definately way over used. SG-1 sucks it up and walk why can't Shepard's team.

I know! They should enlargen the gateroom at the SGC, and start using some of the jumpers from atlantis.

yeah you would think that we made X-302 from a goa'uld Death Glider , why couldnt we do the same thing with the Puddle Jumpers . make are own Jumpers that could travel through the stargate from earth . with are own technology that we have found from Atlaintis .

well, the x302 is much, much less complicated. we understand it, and build all of it ourselves. we barely understand the puddle jumpers. just that it workk, and a few electrical things about it... :-/

yeah but we do have the Asgards that could give us a hand in design the Jumpers for earth . the helped us with the PROMETHEUS why not with a small Jumper that we could use to travel through the gates themselfs .

The treaty didn't stop them from sharing beaming technology, or hyperdrives or shields. So really they stopped caring when we started kicking the replicator's as*es.

Am I the only one that thinks that Aurora and Orion were not Alteran battel ships but radher a big transport vessels like the one that was transporting Alterans in "Before I Sleep" and was shot down by the wraith. I know that we don`t see the ship but think about it. Alterans were the most advanced race in the known universe. The Creaters of Atlantis itself so it would be lodigal that when they did create a Battel ship it would be worthy to carry theyr mark. And to be honest Orion looked just a bit bigger then Dedalus, and Dedalus looks next to a Hive ship as big as 303 looks next to Dedalus. So Maybe we have not even seen a Alteran Battel ship

Well in aurora they did check the cities log and found that it was a war ship. And in Inferno...

The Orion was originally named for an ancient general and it also hel all the survivors from the planet. The deadlus still would have had 3 trips, i believe.

So these ships are reasonable size

Yhea Dedalus had 3 trips becouse they did not have enouge of the air (life suport to handle all the passingers. Like I said its just my opinion so it does not count for much. But if I am (I hope im not)wrong that means we still have Transport type of ship`s to be seen. Remember in "Before I sleep" the Alteran Lady said that the transport ship was protected by theyr most advanced battel ships. So I still belive that we have not see those most advanced battel ships.

i do agree , we still have alone trip a head of us on this one here , there could still be a few battleships out there that we are missing . who knows we could find one that was just being made that never got lauched on some other planet and all we have to do is finish building it up . could have one of the those seats that ATLANTIS has and EARTH has where tohse things come out and you use your mind to move them .

Ppl why do u want bigger ships??
Havent you learn that size doesnt matter , look at a zpm
very small but produces alot of energy. So im not looking forward for bigger ships
only bigger fire power

Besides i dont think the Ancients where the kind of ppl to build a Death Star like in Star Wars.
Lets just wait to see Orion in action before start asking for bigger ships.

I think in Alterans eyes human life was very precious. So it is possible that they did not have any smaller ships then PJ or if they did, maybe they were fully automated like the ones in "Other Side" only more advanced.

yhea but I was thinking in the lines of a ship. I would like to hope that Alterans had also other type of weaponry except the Drones. Pretty sad if the most powerful race know to our side of the univers had only one typ of weaponry.

We need to see some serious weapons and stuff. I mean come on, they are the freakin ancients. They have to have some cool stuff. I think we will see more stuff considering they are still trying to learn about atlantis so hopefully the more they learn will end up unlocking some info on weapons and stuff.

There are lots of cool things I'd like to see...Beam weapons in atlantis...those little ancient phaser thingies, more Ancient ships, ZPM factory...but...they can't show all the cool stuff at once (if ever)...

I understand that the atlantis is still pretty new, but they need to show somekind of really cool technology because I am not impressed with what has been shown considering how powerful the ancients have been built up to be.

I know this is not realy about this topic but as we already are speaking about weapons, why havent they brought any staf weapns, zats or TTR (the anti reatou weapons) from earth. I know they are all used to use earth made weaponry but staf could probably be better when it comes to killing a wraith.
