I do not think that we should be introduced to too many of the obviously cool and outragiously advanced technology and weaponry that the ancients/Alderans have made to offer because if they did do this, the show would be over. They have to do it in a slow and progresive manner. However, they could do more to keep the interest up. However, by doing this, it does keep up the curiosity.
