Default Space?

Asked before..
Will we be able to have our own ships?

(will there be sound in space? )

I have seen that we might be able to call in reinforcements and bomb the crap out of a place, but I wanna be the one that does the bombing

yea we've heard about bases on a planet, but maybe your mothership is your base in orbit around a planet

If included at all I hope that ships are difficult to acquire and/or unrecoverable when destroyed. This is due to combat balancing issues. Having ships that can just transport you through space is fine. But if ships can be bought easily and can be repaired every time they're damaged the game would turn into a:

Jaffa Chat Channel: SGC on P45536
Jaffa Chat Channel: I'm on it
*boom* (aerial bombardment wiping out any characters there)
Jaffa Chat Channel: Area clear

And of course, that would suck

well perhaps you can only build ships and they consume MASSIVE amounts of every resource therfore only a strong strong player, or an alliance could afford one, and thats only making the ship able to fly, then you have to build weapons onto it, and intergrate a shield generator, that you either bought or made also.

well that would be good forcing other alliances to form coalitions to take out the big alliance, then there would be a massive power vacume, can you just imagine all the secret meetings planning the first attack against the massive alliance

I hope there's a space componant of some part... that was one of my favorite things about SWG... and the Stargate universe is sutied to it too... X302's, X303's, death gliders, motherships, cargo ships, etc...

Really though, I'd see this coming as an expanition option, if at all... but I can dream!!

There's always one that has to nitpick, and always one that nitpicks even more, like me!

There is only ONE Deadalus, the others are often named Daedalus class ships, but are all BC-303's, and when I say all I mean both, for atm there are only 2.

If they include ships make sure you can atleast:

A: Get out of your seat and walk around your vessal. (Depending your ship carries other players.)

B: Atmospheric flight. Nothing would be cooler than to strafe some tau'ri in a deathglider or manually land a tel'tak.

Less someone makes a mod for it
You know by the time this game comes out my dad won't be able to stop me from getting this game with his sarcasm of saying "MMORPG's are evil!"

Well maybe the devs will add it...that'd be sweet. A pimped out Prommie with full blown asgard weapons and shields and lots of x302's
